To my mind, this organic extra virgin olive oil is one of the superfoods.

My recommendations

Use this oil for cooking and frying or cold on salads, bread or toast. It is delightful when eaten on toast smeared with garlic and crushed tomato. And if you also add some serrano ham… From Madrid to heaven! Delicious! Its fresh, fruity taste gives a Mediterranean touch to fresh salads. Give yourself a treat!

Use and storage

In Spain, we always buy our olive oil in tins or PET bottles because it is generally cheaper that way. Tins have the advantage of protecting the oil from the light. For everyday use we fill a glass cruet with oil and place it next to the hob. Store olive oil at normal room temperature, not in the fridge.
